Short bios:
Lou Kolb - Ham radio operator since 1969, Advanced class license, WA3MIX. Works in broadcast radio as a professional announcer. Totally blind. Uses enough electronic devices during a day to launch a shuttle (OK, maybe an exaggeration). Always asks before Christmas gift opening, "does it take batteries?".
Kathy Kolb - Ham radio operator since 1978, Advanced class license, WB3KRN. Works in Internet field as president of Kolb Net Works, a web development / Internet Marketing firm.
Has an Associate Degree in Electronic Technolgy from the Williamsport Area Community College, now known as Pennsylvania College of Technology. Studied tube theory to integrated circuits, machine language, assembly language and compiled computer languages. When at GTE, programmed test equipment computer to test computer circuit boards built at factory. Happily Married to Lou.
